The patient presented with the following complaints:
- Long face
- Excessive upper incisor show at rest
- Obtuse naso-labial angle (shape of the junction between nose and upper lip)
- Gummy smile
- Narrow nasal passageways and narrow base of nose with difficulty in breathing through the nose, with consequent obligate mouth breathing
- Difficulty in getting her lips together without undue effort
- Underdeveloped lower jaw
- Large overjet between the upper and lower incisors with inability to bite into food
- Underdeveloped chin
- Facial asymmetry from the front as a result of a previously fractured and damaged temporomandibular joint (TMJ)
